"I’m from St. Mary’s. I used to work in a factory, and they downsized due to imports and exports, and I lost my job. I was very upset. I didn’t know what to do. I have a family to take care of. I have two children, and I didn’t know what I was going to do. I chose the
DuBois
Business
College. It’s close to home. I could get my degree in 18 months. Being older and coming to a college that had all younger kids, it was very scary. Everybody is very friendly here, and they all make you really welcome. I made a lot of friends here. I feel it was a good decision. They’re very helpful. They’ll work with you one on one. They’ll give you suggestions. If you don’t understand something, they’ll go over it again, and they’re always willing to help you. They’re very, very nice. I’d like to work in the hospital or a doctor’s office doing medical work and working with people. I am certain that I will get a job in the field that I am looking into."
