Both of my kids were in college, and I always said, once they were in college, it was time for mom. So I called
DuBois
Business
College, and I decided this is was where I was going to go. It is the Clinical Medical Assistant, which is all the front office work and then you go on for your clinical. Then you can work with the doctors, doing the blood drawings, shots, urinalysis, get into phlebotomy and different things like that. I’ve always wanted to be there to help people. I’m actually looking at getting into either pediatrics to help the sick children, just to be there to hold their hands, or geriatrics to be there for the ones that their days are numbered.
The instructors here I can’t say enough about, faculty and staff they are all wonderful. I think it is great that we are only taking the classes that are pertaining to our fields. They’re not throwing all this stuff at you that you’re not going to use in your field.
